1. Top New Zealand cricketers, Ross Taylor and Kyle Mills, will be auctioned in the next week’s IPL auction along with Under-19 cricketers. Daniel Vettori, Jacob Oram, Brendon McCullum, Stephen Fleming and Scott Styris were already auctioned in the first leg.
 
 
Most of the New Zealand cricketers like Chris Cairns, Chris Harris, Hamish Marshall, Nathan Astle, Daryl Tuffey, Craig McMillan, Andre Adams, Shane Bond, Adam Parore and Lou Vincent are playing in the rival tournament, Indian Cricket League.
 
 
2. Second leg of IPL auction will be held on March 11. Franchises will compete heavily to pick up Under-19 Cricket World Cup winning Indian youth players.
